11 boats enjoyed a sunny morning with an easterly 3-4.     

Chris Gibb dominated the first race, with local helm Alex Scoles (sailing GBR3, Houri) pressing him at the end.  Fleet veteran Richard Cracknell enjoyed an early dip with a pre-start capsize, but recovered amazingly quickly to make the start and tussled round with Alex Smith in Capella.   Ros Spink (Rakker, GBR132 I think) and Kiki Spink, crewed by the looming shape of James Case were well to the fore. 

In the second race, Alex Scoles capsized gybing on the start line.  Local maestro Jerry Clark held second for a while, but lost it to the speedy and experienced Martin Reed, partnered here by Richard Masters.
