The German "YachtSport" Archive has electronic copies of the German magazine "Die Yacht" which are online are searchable, and consist of pdf's of individual pages.

Extensive articles (in Deutsch) relate to the early development of the Sharpie, but due to copyright reasons, the pages cannot be reproduced on this site, though they are freely available for personal viewing on screen.

To purchase high resolution scans for personal use then they appear to be 1 EURO per page.
